The Strugz One Day Finance & Entrepreneurial Seminar tagged ‘CAPITAL An Entrepreneur’s Success Or Failure’ held on the 30th of April, 2017 at The COB Lounge, 137 Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Abuja.

The event was held in a bid to create a networking platform and training that will enable entrepreneurs understand how to access funds (capital) and also how to manage funds. The seminar also focused on branding strategies, understanding the Nigerian TAX/VAT system as a business owner and taking calculated risks in business and strategizing as an entrepreneur. It was also an amazing opportunity to network in a relaxed and fun-filled setting.

The speakers at the event, Mr Tony Ezekiel and Mr Martins Itua, joined by a powerful panelists of finance industry experts {Mr Charles Nkata, Mr Chigoziem Orakwue, Ms. Yemisi Akindele and Ms. Ibiba Okunye} who shared their experiences and daily habits in business that had, in so many ways, helped them manage their finances better.

Questions like these guided our discussions:

  1. At what stage do I stop investing in my business and start expecting returns?

  2. Is having a full time job a distraction from running my business?

  3. What are the benefits of branding, marketing and advertising to a business owner?

It was an inspiring and transformative experience as we were left with lots of testimonials of how the event impacted positively on most of our attendees. One of our attendees Ms. Ijeoma Eze who came from Enugu state to attend the event said, “I got total value for my money and more. I have never been to a seminar where they start feeding you from when you step in until you leave. Infact, I am too full with both knowledge and my stomach.
